Dr. Bronner’s Sponsors UK Psychedelic Conference ‘Breaking Convention’

Dr. Bronner’s, family-owned maker of the top-selling natural brand of soap in North America, have announced that they are a sponsor of the Breaking Convention, London’s annual conference exploring psychedelic substances and their benefits to humans all over the world.

The conference, hosted at the University of Greenwich from 30 June – 2 July, attracts over 150 guests, speakers and intellectuals each year to shed light on the use of psychedelic substances for medicine, psychology, anthropology, sociology, law, politics and the arts.

Dr. Bronner’s advocates the careful, medicinal use of psychedelic substances, particularly in cases where health conditions have been unresponsive to traditional treatments. Dr. Bronner’s sponsorship of Breaking Convention follows their pledge to donate $5 million over 5 years to the American Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) who will be researching the use of MDMA in otherwise untreatable cases of post-traumatic stress disorder.
