VISTA, CA – Dr. Bronner’s has launched a new 1 oz. travel size of its Peppermint All-One Toothpaste, for organic oral care on the go. The low-foaming formula reduces plaque, whitens teeth and freshens breath—yielding a tingly clean feeling unlike any other. Made with 70% organic ingredients, including organic coconut flour and coconut oil which aid as a mild abrasive, and organic aloe juice to help soothe gums. Dr. Bronner’s toothpaste is vegan, fluoride-free, non-GMO certified, NSF certified, and contains no synthetic foaming detergents or preservatives. Available in Peppermint flavor, and packaged in 100% recyclable boxes and tubes, the convenient 1 oz. travel size tube is TSA-compliant for carry-on luggage. Dr. Bronner’s is among the first companies in North America to use for its toothpaste tube 100% recyclable High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic made partly from sugarcane, a renewable agriculture resource that captures carbon dioxide (CO2) and requires limited additional irrigation or fertilization. Dr. Bronner’s All-One Toothpaste is certified to NSF/ANSI 305 standards, meaning it contains at least 70 percent certified organic ingredients but does not meet the NOP food-focused requirements due to processes and methods used in body care production.
Fair Trade
Since 2008 Dr. Bronner’s has been certified fair trade for all major raw materials (representing over 95% of annual agricultural volume) by the respected Swiss Certifier IMO. Shifting supply chains to use certified fair trade ingredients has made a big difference in the lives of an estimated 10,000 farmers, workers, and their families — and is money well spent. No Animal Testing and Vegan
Dr. Bronner’s qualifies for the rabbit and stars logo of the Coalition for Consumer information on Cosmetics (CCIC). This logo certifies that the product and its ingredients are not tested on animals. The CCIC, a coalition of animal rights organizations, requires independent audit for confirmation.
Dr. Bronner’s toothpaste does not contain animal products. Dr. Bronner’s has obtained vegan certification from Vegan Action for all offerings that contain no animal-derived ingredients (this excludes lip and magic balms), and the company is registered with the Vegan Society in the UK.
