Marking Seven Years of Global Giving for Social Justice, Animal Advocacy, and Environmental Sustainability

The All-One International Initiative is Dr. Bronner’s global philanthropy program, founded in 2019 by company President Michael Bronner and VP of Public Relations Ryan Fletcher. In 2025, the initiative marked seven years of global giving, supporting organizations making a tangible impact around the world. Since 2019, Dr. Bronner’s has contributed at least 1% of sales from participating international markets each year to fund organizations advancing social justice, environmental sustainability, and animal advocacy. Through the All-One International Initiative, Dr. Bronner’s has contributed more than $1,485,000 to over 70 organizations across 20 countries between 2019 and 2025.

This form of global giving carries renewed significance amid escalating political instability, violence, and humanitarian crises worldwide. In these challenging times, it is essential to uplift the bold, brilliant, and courageous activists and leaders who are working every day to build a more just and humane world, a world that company founder Emanuel Bronner worked tirelessly to actualize. While Emanuel Bronner was often seen as unconventional for believing that humanity could “unite Spaceship Earth and all its inhabitants”, the All-One International Initiative shows that this vision is far from abstract. It lives on in the countless individuals and organizations around the world who believe that another world is possible and continue working toward it despite extraordinary challenges. These organizations are actively shaping alternatives rooted in care, dignity, and collective responsibility.

When asked to share thoughts about the program, Dr. Bronner’s President Michael Bronner said: “Dr. Bronner’s goal has always been to ensure that the success of our company translates into meaningful impact. Through the All-One International Initiative, we partner with organizations rooted in the places we sell our products in around the world, which gives us the opportunity to help amplify local leadership and support work that protects people, animals, and ecosystems worldwide. This initiative is one of the most powerful ways we live our values as a global company.”

Dr. Bronner’s, together with our local partners, supports organizations addressing a variety of critical issues, including racial justice, homelessness, regenerative organic agriculture, farmed animal sanctuaries, and creative media projects that expose the cruelty of the factory farming industry. The All-One International Initiative is also a participatory grantmaking program that engages multiple stakeholders in both decision-making and relationship-building processes for funding and supporting our partner organizations.

Over the past few years, I have had the rare privilege of witnessing what principled, community-rooted action looks like in moments of profound political and environmental instability. In a time when democratic norms are eroding, human rights are under threat, and communities across the globe are facing overlapping crises, I have been deeply moved by the courage and integrity of the activists, organizers, and organizations supported through this work. These organizations are doing the slow, difficult, and often dangerous work of protecting dignity, safety, and possibility in their own communities.

Through the process of reviewing funding applications alongside international distributors and my colleagues at Dr. Bronner’s, I have come to understand the company’s “All-One!” mission in a deeper way. People and all living beings are bound by shared patterns of injustice and shared hopes for freedom. In this moment of global reckoning, the All-One International Initiative is a reminder that meaningful change requires collective commitment and moral clarity, and that standing together across borders is not optional if we want a more just and freer world.

Below is a list of organizations that were funded by the All-One International Initiative in 2025. This is made possible by the support of Dr. Bronner’s customers around the world who purchase our products. This participatory grantmaking program relies on the active involvement of multiple stakeholders, including Dr. Bronner’s distributors, regional managers, and our PR team—including myself, Lilia Letsch, and Tricia Parker, who manage the program. Thank you to the company’s senior leadership and the multiple departments, including International Markets, Finance, Philanthropy, as well as the Bronner family, for dedicating the time and resources to make this program possible!

Across the globe, the All-One International Initiative helped empower community organizers and advocates working to expand justice and dignity for all. From supporting racial and gender equity movements to strengthening LGBTQ+ rights, housing stability, food sovereignty, and criminal justice reform, the initiative backs organizations reshaping systems that have long marginalized vulnerable communities. Their work reflects a collective commitment to building a more just and inclusive world.

Confronting Factory Farming and Shaping Global Food Systems in 2025

Last year, Dr. Bronner’s All-One International Initiative stood alongside organizations working to transform the food system’s relationship with farmed animals by promoting plant-based diets and holding the animal agriculture industry accountable. With Dr. Bronner’s support, partners have provided sanctuary to animals rescued from cruelty and used education and storytelling to build empathy and awareness. Across the globe, these efforts have encouraged more conscious consumer choices, strengthened advocacy for legal change, and confronted the injustices of factory farming.
