We were recently made aware of a lawsuit filed by the family of Dr. Bronner’s former employee Denise Lozano regarding her death in 2022. The lawsuit names the Dr. Bronner’s company, David Bronner (our CEO), Mia Bronner (an employee and wife of David), and Terry Lenley (an employee) as defendants.

Denise Lozano was a beloved employee and treasured member of Dr. Bronner’s community. We hold her and all her loved ones in our hearts.

We want to assure you that Denise’s tragic passing was not the fault of anyone associated with Dr. Bronner’s. The lawsuit against us is baseless and we are confident it will be dismissed.

The lawsuit alleges that Denise died while receiving a form of ketamine treatment that may have involved other drugs. She received the treatment at her home unrelated to the legal and authorized program our company offers.

Dr. Bronner’s Ketamine-Assisted Therapy employee health benefit program is administered through the provider Enthea and services are currently offered to employees in the San Diego area by Flow Integrative. At this time, Flow Integrative is the only treatment provider covered in the San Diego area by Dr. Bronner’s health benefit in collaboration with Enthea.

Due to the pending litigation, we cannot comment further.
