The chocolate foundation of all Dr. Bronner’s Magic All-One Chocolate bars is a pure cocoa experience that features a unique blend of Ghanaian and Ivory Coast cocoa, Indonesian coconut sugar, Congolese cocoa butter, and vanilla from Madagascar. Available in the flavors Salted Dark Chocolate, Roasted Whole Hazelnuts, Crunchy Hazelnut Butter, Salted Whole Almonds, Salted Almond Butter, Smooth Coconut Praline, and Cool Peppermint Cream; the chocolate’s rich cocoa flavor shines and lingers, while regenerative organic farming practices have lasting positive impacts on farmers, their communities, and the land they tend.
Dr. Bronner’s new Magic All-One Chocolate is a direct result of the company’s work to partner with farmers to improve the health and productivity of existing palm and cocoa trees in eastern Ghana through dynamic agroforestry. Dynamic agroforestry is a farming practice based on the integration of complementary trees and other crops that creates biodiversity, improves yields and income streams, and avoids the use of toxic chemicals by replicating the way plant species naturally support each other in a healthy tropical forest.
The cocoa in Dr. Bronner’s Magic All-One Chocolate is sourced from the company’s Regenerative Organic Certified™ Serendipalm project in Ghana, which also cultivates the palm trees that produce palm oil for the brand’s Castile Bar Soaps. Additionally, Dr. Bronner’s cocoa supply chain works closely with Kany, a cooperative of women farmers in Ivory Coast. Dr. Bronner’s new line of chocolate is a vehicle for the company to spread delicious chocolate while addressing ecological and social harm in the chocolate industry by modeling better practices in the sourcing and production of Dr. Bronner’s Magic All-One Chocolate.
